Andrew J. Presto III, M.D.

Dr.Presto is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He is a native of Long Island, New York. He holds a mathematics degree from Duke University. He attended medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He then spent the next four years in the general surgery and urology programs at the New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical Center. He completed his formal training as Chief Resident in Urology at the University of Utah Medical Center.

Dr. Presto spent two years as the staff urologist at Clark Air force Base in the Philippines. It was there that he developed his strong interest in aviation. He has been in practice in Phoenix since 1974. He has long been noted for his innovative thoughts and surgical techniques having been one of the first urologists in the southwest to perform penile prosthetic surgery. He has also been an early advocate of lithotripsy for kidney stones and cryotherapy for prostate cancer.

Dr. Presto is a student of language. He is fluent in Italian and Spanish and can get by in French and German. He is currently struggling with Mandarin Chinese.

Dr. Presto has two adult daughters. He and his wife enjoy cooking, fine dining, wine collecting and world travel. He has a passion for airplanes, especially the T-28 Trojan. Deep sea fishing is also one of his regular pastimes.
