St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center is a 686 bed tertiary care teaching hospital located in central Phoenix. St. Joe’s has been a leader in cutting edge urologic care for many years. In 1985, St. Joe’s was one of the first medical centers in the United States to offer ESWL, a minimally invasive form of kidney stone surgery. St. Joe’s is one of a few hospitals in the country that runs a full-time, fully dedicated kidney stone treatment center. Over the years, Dr. Bohnert has served the hospital in numerous positions including Chief of Staff. Currently, Dr. Zeidman serves as the head of the urology program and Dr. Kletscher serves as the Medical Director of the Kidney Stone Treatment Center.
